Boilers & steam
Bespoke boiler water treatment programs that prevent scale and corrosion and keep steam systems running reliably.
Supierz Water provides boiler water treatment and steam system chemistry for industrial sites across Sydney and NSW, with bespoke programs that prevent scale, corrosion and unplanned shutdowns.

Why does boiler water chemistry matter?
Boilers and steam systems operate under sustained heat and pressure that accelerates every water chemistry problem. Scale deposits reduce heat transfer efficiency and drive up energy costs, while corrosion silently thins tube walls until a failure forces an unplanned shutdown, or worse, a safety incident.
We don't just run routine tests. We interpret what the chemistry is telling us about your system's condition, adjust dosing programs in response to changing load and operating conditions, and identify problems before they become damage, downtime or danger.
What does boiler water treatment include?
Supierz Water can:
- Develop and manage a bespoke chemical treatment program for your boiler and steam system.
- Conduct site visits to undertake sampling, testing and chemical dosing.
- Analyse and control pH, oxygen levels, hardness and conductivity to protect the system from the inside out.
- Review laboratory results and respond to out-of-specification readings before they cause lasting damage.
Where do we work?
Based in Sydney, we run ongoing programs across Sydney, the Central Coast, Lake Macquarie, Newcastle and the Hunter, Port Stephens and regional NSW, with project work available Australia-wide.

Common questions
What causes scale and corrosion in a boiler?
Scale forms when hardness salts and other dissolved solids deposit on hot surfaces. Corrosion is driven mainly by dissolved oxygen, low pH and poor condensate chemistry. A treatment program controls each of these through make-up water quality, chemical dosing and blowdown.
How often should boiler water be tested?
It depends on boiler size, pressure, make-up water quality and how critical your steam supply is. Most industrial boilers need routine on-site testing of pH, conductivity, hardness and oxygen scavenger residual, with the frequency set in a site-specific treatment program.
