Why does a system need a chemical clean?

Scale, corrosion products and biofilm build up in every water system over time. Left in place, they cut heat transfer, raise energy costs, harbour bacteria and hide corrosion underneath. A chemical clean restores the system, but the wrong chemistry or poor control can damage the metal you are trying to protect.

We don't just circulate acid and drain the system. We analyse the deposit first, select a cleaning chemistry that suits your metallurgy, control the clean as it runs and confirm the result, so your system comes back clean and ready for its treatment program.

What does a chemical clean include?

Supierz Water can:

• Plan and carry out chemical cleans of boilers, heat exchangers, cooling towers and process equipment.
• Analyse scale and deposits to select the right cleaning chemistry for your system and metallurgy.
• Control and test throughout the clean, then neutralise and flush the system before it returns to service.
• Decontaminate and disinfect cooling towers in line with regulatory requirements.
