Why does commissioning chemistry matter?

The first weeks of a new or refurbished system set the conditions for its whole working life. Construction debris, mill scale and oils left in new plant, or a treatment program started late, can cause corrosion and fouling before the system has properly gone into service.

We don't just hand over a chemical drum at start-up. We prepare the system before it goes into service, set up the treatment program and dosing from day one, and record baseline chemistry so every future result has a reference point.

What does plant commissioning include?

Supierz Water can:

  • Carry out pre-commissioning flushing and cleaning of new or refurbished plant.
  • Commission boilers, cooling towers, closed loops and water treatment plant from a water chemistry perspective.
  • Install, set up and verify dosing and control equipment before start-up.
  • Establish baseline testing and hand over a documented treatment program ready for operation.

Common questions

Why does water chemistry matter at commissioning?

New systems contain construction debris, oils and mill scale, and new metal surfaces are especially vulnerable to early corrosion. Cleaning the system and starting the treatment program correctly from day one protects it for the rest of its working life.

Do you commission plant outside NSW?

Yes. Commissioning is project work, and we deliver it for industrial sites anywhere in Australia.
